Summer/Fall 2011 NewBeauty TestTube

This past week I received my NewBeauty Magazine and TestTube of 9 samples and full size products.  Since my last TestTube for Spring/Summer was such a hit, I decided to film the open box video to share info on the magazine, program and share what items I received.  I haven't even started reading the Summer/Fall magazine because I'm still working on my Spring/Summer issue!  These magazines are thick and packed full of articles and top products and inspirational stories and photos - the perfect magazine for a beauty lover/blogger!

Here's some info on the TestTube Program:
Throughout the year, TestTube™ subscribers will receive four different exciting boxes filled with deluxe samples of the latest and best beauty products. The value of the samples you’ll receive will always significantly exceed the subscription price. You will be charged $29.95 (plus $8.95 for shipping and handling) as each new TestTube™ is sent to you.

The TestTube always comes with a booklet featuring the products you received and information on the brand and the product descriptions.  I love these booklets because it's actually refreshing to have product information on hand rather than looking it up online all time.

Here is what I received in my Summer/Fall TestTube:
- Macadamia Natural Oil - Healing Oil Treatment, Deep Repair Masque
- L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray Extra Strong Hold
- Orlane Paris Absolute Skin Recovery Smoothing Foundation in 10 Sable Clair
- Korres Quercetin & Oak Antiageing/Antiwrinkle Day Cream
- Dr. Brandt Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner Blackhead Extractor
- Mally Evercolor Starlight Waterproof Eyeliner in Midnight
- Your Best Friend Lip Liner in Posing Plum
- SPAritual Handprint Hand Serum
- Lash Food Eyelash Conditioner

PLUS I received a $20 gift card for SpaLook

Like I stated in my last NewBeauty TestTube post: "I'm very happy with my New Beauty magazine and even more excited about trying out these samples.  If you're like me and love reading and learning about beauty and health, then you might want to look into New Beauty, even if you don't want to do the Test Tube program, it's an absolutely amazing magazine that has fulfilled my learning and inspiring needs."

  6. @GABY: You're right, it is pricier. It seems like everyone has heard of the Ellnet spray except me, lol, I wonder if I'll like it better than my fave Tresemme spray

  10. How do you think this compares to Birchbox? Obviously it is more expensive, but which do you prefer?

  11. @Jesse: I think it's hard to compare the TestTube program to Birchbox, first being the price difference and second being the magazine. But solely based on which package am I more excited to receive, I would have to say the NewBeauty TestTube program is favored for its awesome magazine and their product selection is a bit more exciting because they don't use the same brands over and over like Birchbox tends to do.

  12. @ Jesse, if you average out the amount of how much the test tube is over the year it is actually only $3 more per month (and that factors in the shipping charges).

  13. Looks like you got some awesome samples! I'm on the fence about signing up for TestTube because I HATE paying for shipping /:
