Wet n' Wild Cool As A Cucumber Look

I had purchased the Wet n' Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio in On Cloud Nine a long time ago, and hadn't gotten around to playing with it yet.  This weekend I decided to play around with a few looks using this trio.  The shades are very smooth, pigmented, blendable, buildable and last hours without fading (using a base primer).  I sort of feel that this trio is more of a Fall product because I found the shadows to be very dark and I think they just fit me better in chillier weather.  Nevertheless, I created a look that I really like, and I'm probable going to be rocking this when Autumn hits.

I did a few swatch photos to show the complexity of these shadows.  Wet N' Wild really does a great job on the eye shadows, but I think the crease and eyelid shadows are so unique.  They're rich, deep colors with a gorgeous sheen and an unbelievably smooth texture.  I wanted to really capture the effect these shadows give.

(because I didn't plan on doing a makeup look with this palette - if you are interested in a tutorial on this look, just let me know and I'll film one for you)

  1. I had this trio as well, but unfortunately, they weren't that pigmented for me :( It came out really nice for you, though, and I really like the look you created from it!

  12. I have this trio and it's probably one of my favorites, color combo-wise. That and "I've Got Good Jeans" (<= Every color in that one was a hit for me!). I never go without primer so I'm shocked at how well they show up without it. Your eyes came out darling, darling! Lol ;)
