Krystal's December Birchbox Review!

Although I had a hectic month of December with packing up our apartment and moving in January and still in the process of unpacking and organizing our house, I did get some time to try out my Birchbox items from my December box. I did receive my December box really late, I actually received it in the beginning of January, but Birchbox made up for it by giving me 100 Birchbox points, which equals $10.00 towards buying something from their website.
I wasn't that thrilled about my December Birchbox when it arrived, but after using a couple of the products, I kind liked it and there's two products I added to my to-get list!

This primer is AMAZING! I love it! My skin is already pretty smooth and line-less (does that make sense?), but this primer makes my skin look almost Barbie-fake! I have been using this underneath my Ahava Light and Rich foundations and I adore it to pieces. This is a really great sized sample because I only use a small amount for my forehead, cheeks, nose and chin - so when this sample finally runs out, I'm definitely buying the full size!!

This smells AMAZING! It's so pretty and fresh, lightly "perfumey". I have been wearing this everyday, it's so delicate and easy to wear, I never feel like it's too much or not enough. I currently have half of this left, and I added it to my list of perfumes to buy for when all my samples run out. I'm so glad I go this in my December box!

Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Birchbox Pink
I wore this once, which I didn't even bother photographing because it looked so sheer that it looked like I wasn't even wearing a color :(
I'm so disappointed in this gloss, it looks beautiful in the tube, but comes out looking like a clear gloss. I wouldn't recommend this - especially since Jouer glosses are $20.00 each - not worth the money in my opinion.

Olie Biologique 004 Huile Moderne
Dear Birchbox, please stop giving me facial oils. They never work for me and it's a waste of a sample slot when you could give me something that I'll actually use up.
I tried this oil out a few times, each time it made my skin really slick feeling, not greasy, just not fresh or even dry. I've used Argan oils in the past and those work for me, but the oils that Brichbox sends me never seem to fully soak into my skin. Either my skin doesn't allow it, or these oils are just too much for me.

I haven't used this yet. I knew I wouldn't. I'm thinking I'll just hold on to it to add to a giveaway or something.

I wasn't a fan of this, but EBoost was nice enough to send me their other two flavors to try out and see if I like. I haven't had a chance to try them yet, but when I do, I'll be sure to let you all know how the other flavors turn out :)
